I took Cameron to get his hair cut this afternoon at a little hair salon down the street and then Walter stopped by on his way home from work to get his cut. I am going tomorrow to get my hair colored & cut. I was hoping to go today but had a meeting that ran late and I couldn't make it in time. Tonight was steak night and Walter and I went to dinner with Cathy & Brent. We found out that Brent may be going out of state to work, so our Thursday nights out may stop for awhile or turn into every other weekend out! I am hoping it doesn't happen, but it looks like it will. We had a nice dinner tonight and I enjoyed my steak immensely!!
I'll leave you with a new Halloween memory of mine - my cute little niece/butterfly, Daphne on her first Halloween this year!! I love how she's carrying around a sock monkey! I have a collection of them myself and that tells me that she's just like her Aunt Dawn! Isn't she a cute, although not too happy looking butterfly?? She is 14 months old and isn't too amused when she goes to her pre-school 2 mornings a week, which is where the Halloween parade was.

Daphne looks precious in her little butterfly costume. If you remember, Carleigh was a butterfly last year. Hope y'all have a fun evening tomorrow night and lots of trick or treaters.
Daphne is so cute!! It's always fun to pass out candy and see what kids are wearing for costumes!! I wish I could....
Love, Mere

Happy Halloween.
Sadly, Halloween isn't my favorite. It is my mom's and they don't celebrate it in Switzerland. Before my mom and her husband moved to the other side of Lake Geneva, they had friends who would dress up or let their kids dress up and my mom would go all out for them. Decorations, treats, etc. Since not to many let their kids come from where they lived, they didn't have to worry about running out of anything. There are enough American's living over there that some people don't think it is all weird. It's sad they don't do it anymore. They moved to a little Hamlet in the mountains and don't have many neighbors, and their friends are on the other side of the lake. I sort of feel guilty when I don't love halloween now. I hate getting up and down and remind myself it is once a year!! A cheery high five for those who like halloween.
What a cutie! I posted a Blast from the Past today, too. Happy Halloween!
Oh, we don't get any little trick or treaters in the boonies, and I wish we did. Just too far for them to go.
The little butterfly is too cute!
Enjoy your Halloween.
Renie
