Yes, I am busy reading Eclipse!!! Almost to busy to clean the house and blog!! But not to worry!! I saved a few minutes for my wonderful friends in Blogland! I am nearly through with the book and almost hate to start on Breaking Dawn because it is the last one!!! Noooo!!!!
So, this weekend, my friend, Lesley & I are going to go visit JP in Houston. I am always planned well in advance, so imagine my surprise when I went online to double check our reservations and they've been cancelled!!! Thanks for letting me know!!! I called and everyone's rooms were cancelled due to hurricane repairs that are ongoing, which is totally understandable, but what if I hadn't checked?? AHHHH!!! But I found another hotel that looks nice that is a little closer to the jail. My sister lives in Pearland, so I like to stay at a hotel near her house, but that's ok for this trip. Lesley & I can drive a little further and visit with Donna without it being a big deal. I am excited to see JP! Several of my wonderful blog friends have written to him lately and I really appreciated it more than you will know!!! Hopefully, he will be writing everyone back! Lesley & I will also get to see our friend, Kimi, on our way to Houston Friday night!! Yay!! It should be a fun weekend if I can keep Lesley from being sad about seeing JP. To me, I feel so lucky that he is alive and that I can see him, so I don't usually feel sad when I see him, but it does happen. He is in God's hands and I truly believe that.
Walter & I ended up going out on the boat by ourselves yesterday and had a great afternoon. The restaurant we wanted to eat at was closed for hurricane repairs (story of my life!!), so we just ate once we got home. It sure was a beautiful day and we really enjoyed it.

Thanks for sharing the Twilight thing!! I'm sorry about student that gives you trouble...just kill him with kindness!
Love, Mere
P.S. I wish I could fire that "stage manager", but she's a senior, so we have to make her think she's contributing...it's not funn....
Have a good trip and I hope you'll hear lots of good news from him. I also hope the info we discussed will work out too. Keeping my prayers going and fingers crossed. My girlfriend talked about reading these books. I may have to borrow them from her when she's done.
thank you for visiting my blog via BATW!
Sorry about your student. You have a heart of gold to help students like that. Sorry your plans were messed up and glad you thought ahead.
I'm so glad you'll get to visit with your son. That will be a big blessings for you, I know.
Hugs,
Renie
I know how you feel. I raced through the first 3 books but this last one...I'm taking my time.
THat student that gives everyone such a hard time...I can only imagine what sort of home life, or personal issues he's dealing with to make him act that way. I truly have all the respect in the world for you and his teachers that have to find a way to deal with it. Not easy for sure.
I hope you have a good visit with JP...those visits must be bittersweet.
Ok I'll stop my novel in your comment section. have a good one!
I am so happy for you that you get to go see your son. I'm sure he is really looking forward to it.
I love the Twilight thingy too. I can't believe that I am most like Alice. Makes me wonder if I am really that annoying to other people. Hmmmmm.
I'm a Esme too! Sorry about your student. Just from talking to you -- you seem like a wonderful person! Thanks for sharing -- Much Love
Anissa
That's so great you get to see JP. Where do you write to him at? I could have missed it somewhere.
I love Esme! My Mikele is Alice. It is so her. Kind of scary how close they have gotten to the real person!!
Am I the only one not reading these books? My sister is in love with them... I pulled up at Sonic to get my drink on and there was a car next to me... Reading your books. Guess I better get busy so I will know what Im missing!
Have a good trip - will be praying. Those books are so good. I am thinking about reading them all ober again.
Those are my favorite books! I took the quiz and I am an Esme also!
I hope that you have a nice trip to Houston. It sounds like work is keeping you busy and on your toes.
I miss you! Andrew and I went to Outback Saturday and I thought about you while we were there!!
Love you!
Sounds like a blast - the boat ride I mean ... I did tell JP and you and I seem to think we could reach each other by boat! haha
Hey there, you Grand Prize Winner, you! Thanks so much for coming by yesterday and participating in my SITS Featured Blogger Day in the Sun! It's so nice to see some Familiar Bloggy Faces in all that torrent of Comment Love!
Thanks for stopping by on the BATW tour today. I have not started reading the Twilight books, but want to!! Did I read right that you are from Houston or Texas? I use to live in San Antonio and we love Houston. My husband is from Texas as well. Thanks for stopping by and come back soon!
I am still waiting for the library to have Eclipse. Have a safe and enjoyable trip.
I haven't read these books yet...I think I really need to get with the program, don't you? My plan, I think, is to wait 'til all the books are in paperback, buy them second-hand, and read them all over summer break. But I don't think I can wait that long. What should I do?
I am Esme too, I varied on one question so I answered the question with my first impression and was Esme and then I answered the question with my other answer and came up Bella.
I heart "twilight sage"! I am so sad to be done with the books. I could not stop reading them. I am thinking about reading them again since nothing else compares right now!
I am Esme too! :)
