How 'bout them Tigers??? They played an awesome game last night and I am so proud of them!! Walter & I stayed went to dinner & ran some errands, and then came home to watch the game. Walter & I are making the most of this "starting the diet over on Monday" thing. We went to Chili's last night on our way to Home Depot and had dinner. I love their triple combo appetizer as a meal! I always get the spinach & artichoke dip, southwest eggrolls, and boneless buffalo wings. Yum!!
And then tonight, Sean says that he wants to go to dinner for his birthday, so I am going to assume that he is really going to call and we will really have dinner with him for his birthday tonight. He also wants to pick up the pinball machine we have in our storage unit, which will be great, because we can finish clearing the storage room out and stop paying for it. When we moved out here, we actually had 2 storage units full of things we didn't have room for in our house (or just didn't want to store in the attic), and we're down to one now, but I'd like to get rid of them altogether.
I did go in the pool today and clean out the leaves that were stuck at the bottom and on the sides of the pool. The pool looks a lot better now and I think it will be clear and pretty before long. It was chilly in the water today, but not all that bad! I didn't stay in longer than necessary though!
I've spent a lot of time cleaning the house this weekend, which is good for me because I hate doing it, but don't want to hire another housekeeper, so I did good! Walter & I also washed my car and it is looking all pretty!! We took it to dinner last night with the top down! It is so much fun to drive!!
Here is a cute picture of our cat, JJ (aka GoGo) on the kitchen window sill. He really cracks me up!! He's so big that he takes up half the window!!
Nothing much else happening here, so that's all I have!! I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!!

I love going out to eat! How many times a week do you guys normally go out to eat?
I'd say in my household we go out 3-4 times a week, eat sandwiches 2-3 and starve the other night. Haha! We don't have kids yet, and I'm sure when we do I'll have to start cooking healthy, but until then I can be free!
I love your car,,,how cool and I wished I was already done cleaning this place but no....I am about to begin the nightmare of cleaning this place!!!
How 'bout Bama, too?! They were awesome!!
We have a storage unit, too. It is crammed with stuff. We'll probably have ours until I find my dream home!
Sounds like y'all have had a fun weekend. The game was good. That meal at Chili's sounds good. I haven't been there in a long time. I love that dip you were talking about. I think it's fair to do the weekend time off from the diet. You work hard all week, why not enjoy everything about the weekend when you can. The car looks great. I'm so glad you're enjoying it so much. Have a good Sunday. :)
I love me some LSU tigers -- and did I say thank you for letting me do your blog. Now thank you again for telling everyong. Thanks for sharing -- I so love your car. Much Love!
I love the cat!!! It looks poofy. Totally laid back. Yep. The cat's my favorite thing.
I feel like joining Go Go!! I love to eat at Chilies too! I love your car. How fun to go with the top down!!
I came so close to getting THAT car a few years ago! Then I got pregnant and well... practicality wins out every time.
My husband actually took my Pilot and had it detailed yesterday. It's lookin so purdy.
Sounds like you all have had a very productive weekend. That's great. :)
Oh, I finally found something we DON'T have in common. LSU! Blech! LOL
Love the car! And way to go on the cleaning. Sounds like you are wayyyy ahead of me at the current moment! ;)
Enjoy your weekend! Tiding in a convertible is always fun. Too bad I never got one.
Love the Car!! Chili's is like the favorite high school restaurant around here...I like it but it's not something I live on like most of the people around here...lol. Cute lazy cat :D
Love ya! Mere
Love the picture of the cat. Nice car.
Your getting rid of stuff is highly admirable. I struggle with it all the time. (Do I really need datebooks/journals from 1979? Or how about those ugly afgans knit by Aunt Ellen? Or the 1001 clipped recipes never concocted? Help!)
Oh - your car...Love it. That will be nice to not have to pay for storage anymore.
My friends and I always like to get the triple appetizer thing for a meal, too. =) Then we laugh about how there is three of us ordering essentially 3 appetizers each...
Took me awhile - but I have my award up!!
I like the new look!!
Love the car. Always wanted a little convertible. Our weather isn't condusive to owning one though. Three months of sun does not make it feasible in my mind.
Man I love to ride in a convertable almost as much as on the motorcycle, maybe even better ... it isn't so hard on my back!
I'm late here, but had to comment on your spiffy red convertible and your cat. Both are beautiful. I have a cat just like that.
Hugs,
Renie
