Tuesday night

It has been a great cat day!!! CAAWS has offered to give me vouchers to spay/neuter 3 of the cats on my back porch and I am asking about the one that just had kittens for once she weans them and is able to be spayed. AND I found a home for Trey, the kitten that still needed a home!! My grandson has already taken Hunter home and tomorrow a wonderful 1o year old girl will become the proud mother of Sasha and Zorro!! I put an ad on CAAWS' website for Trey and really was hoping for a good home for him and yesterday a guy called who wanted to come see him. He came out today and took him home!! He was a really nice guy who has other pets and I think Trey, who is now named Grady (after Grady on Sanford & Son!) will be a very happy kitty. Now, I just need to get the new kittens out from under the neighbors house!! They are about 3 weeks old and need some human contact soon. So anyway, I'm really happy about that.

Walter had his dental surgery done today and that went well. He's been zonked out most of the day but isn't in pain, so i'm glad for that. It was nice being off these 2 days...a good sign of things to come!! I am anxious to wrap things up at work and enjoy my time off. It still seems unbelievable to me to have this awesome job with the summers off. God put this right in my lap in return for all of my hard work and for overcoming all that I have, I think. It is the perfect job for me and I love what I do.

No more progress on the weight loss since last week, but we ate out a few times and had a few drinks, so i'm sure that slowed things down. I have been great this week and worked out yesterday & today, so i'm hoping to get things moving again. The cruise is in 46 days and I need to fit in my bathing suit!!! I just hope i'll keep up the exercise after the cruise. I am enjoying it for now anyway.
