Life on the river

The main thing I can say about living out here is that things are just different. It is such a laid back, small town atmosphere, but then you have the river life to add to the mix. It's just different and I really can't think of anywhere else I'd rather be. Today, one of Cameron's friends, John, (they've been friends since Kindergarten), came by to pick him up to "hang out" river style.

Only 33 days left until the cruise!! Could I BE any more excited??? Walter's niece invited her boyfriend's family along on the cruise, so I met about 8 more people yesterday who are going with us! They were fun and crazy like Walter's family, so they will add to the fun we are already going to have!! I tried to count the people going and I think there are 41, but i'm sure I missed a couple somewhere. I can't wait!!

Landen wants to spend the night again and then will go home tomorrow. He wants to go to work with Elizabeth Tuesday, who works at his old daycare, and see his friends who are also out of school for the summer. He's so easy to have around and we really enjoy him. I hope he'll come back a lot more over the summer. He & Walter have been busy today doing chores around the house, including cutting the grass. It's a tough job, but somebody's got to do it.

Here is my pool in its beginning stages!!

There's not much else going on around here today. Walter & I will hang out with Landen tonight, cook chicken fajitas, and watch cartoons or something! And hey, leave me a comment if you're reading my blog so i'll know you're here! I'd love to come check out your blog if you have one, so leave a link!
