Now, i'll be honest. That really isn't me, I didn't really go to a Waffle House on the trip, and that probably isn't a cheesy steak sandwich. We have Waffle House's all over Louisiana, so I really didn't have any desire to stop by one on the trip, but I wanted to accomodate my wonderful readers, and well, I hope this makes Molly happy! And drooly!!We had a fun night with Landen and since I have to go back to work tomorrow, I will have to take him home sometime this afternoon. He has had fun swimming, fishing, and playing with all of his favorite toys.

He really cracked me up when he asked me if I would take him to a gymnastics place one day. I said I would, but that he'll have to find out where it is for me. He said, "oh, I will just show you!! This truck is you, this toy is Gram's house, and this yellow sign is the gymnastics place, so you just drive over to it like this!" Ohhhh, well ok then! That shouldn't be hard to find!
So, yeah, back to work tomorrow! I have thoroughly enjoyed having the summer off, and while i'll miss being at home, being lazy, and visiting with friends & family, I am ready to get back to work with my kids. I will be able to talk about the changes in my school assignment tomorrow after our meeting, and i'm really excited! And i'm super extra excited that my friend, Courtney, will be starting work with me tomorrow! Yay! I'm sure my blogging time will be somewhat affected by me having to work, but I do have access to blogger on my work server, so maybe i'll fit it in during my lunch break or something!
Questions & Comments:
Michelle asked if we'd be taking a girls road trip in my new Mustang (assuming I ever get one) and I have to say, hmmm, I don't know!!! If my memory serves me correctly, there is room for 2 people to fit comfortably in the front seat of the car, and then 2 people can cram themselves rather awkwardly in the back, so yeah, y'all can come on a girls road trip, but work those details out amongst yourselves! LOL...I'm driving!

I can't wait to hear about the changes! I really hope you have a great week back to school. Oh, and I think I have a great place for your road trip...here!!
Landen is so cute and it looks like you guys have fun.
I miss you!!
I Love Waffle House! However, on their menu they claim like over a hundred thousand types of hashbrowns you can order. I want to know how that is possible? Beyond exhausting every veggie and meat on this planet what else could you add to them to come up with 100k+? I've had many sleepless nights over this.
Love the pictures of Landen fishing. He looks like he's having such a good time out there. Sad to say, but sounds like he gives directions like I do sometimes LOL He wants to take gymnastics? That's neat!
A girl can wish for a road trip in that car wahhhhhh!! Would be fun though.
Glad you get to work with one of your friends. That will be fun for you.
I didn't read anything else. All I saw was the Waffle House sign and I got misty eyed and drooled over what could be a cheesey steak sandwich. Thank you for accommodating me!
Those pics of Landen are so darn cute! I love that age! Does he want to take gymnastics or just watch them practice?
Good luck tomorrow on your first day back! The road trip sounds like fun in your 'stang. LOL I know how small those back seats are. I had to ride with Kayli for 6 months when she had her permit. I let Dylan ride in the front because his legs are so long!
We love Waffle House too!! Even my picky eater Lane loves it! Haven't been there in a while though.
Landen is getting SO big and he is just too cute!! Those pics make me want to grab him and give him a big hug!!! Kids say the funniest things, huh?
Hope you have a GREAT first day of school!! LOL, that makes it sound like you are a student going back!! I've said it before, but I'm gonna say it again... those kids are so lucky to have someone like you fighting for them!! You have more determination than most people I know, and that is exactly what those kids need... someone who cares about them and who won't give up on them. I can't wait to hear your news about your school assignments... hurry and tell us Sista!!
Now... as far as for how many people can fit into the back of your mustang... well, I plead the 5th!!! LOL!! It seems to me that we used to fit more than two people in the back seat, but then again... my memories from those days are a bit fuzzy! LOL!! That seems like another lifetime ago!
LOL Waffle HOUSE...uggg the greasy spoon....lol
