It's only 1pm and I've been quite productive already today. I was asked to participate in our "parent's expo" for our school system this morning and work at our "Parenting Effectiveness Training" booth, which is a class that one of my co-workers teacher to parents of students in our schools. Walter wanted to come with me, so we both went and spent the morning there handing out information and letting people know about the program. The school system was expecting 800-1,000 parents at the Expo, but we only had 30 - 40 come by our booth. It was nice to be able to help out and be a part of what the school is trying to do.

My supervisor and her friend came by last night to drop off some brochures for us to hand out at the Expo, so we went to eat with them at Hilltop. I had a steak w/sauteed mushrooms and it was really good. We've been bored with Hilltop lately, but I was glad we went. We are trying to behave and not eat out this weekend. There was free Jambalaya at the Expo, so we had that for lunch and our neighbor gave us some vegetable soup and we'll eat that for dinner tonight, which will be perfect because it is downright chilly outside! I may even have to light my fireplace!

There's not much else going on today. Cameron got a 90 on that Biology test that I forced him to study for!! Yay!! We are also going to pick up my mom's electric piano for him tomorrow if he cleans out a spot in his room for the piano to fit.
