This is JP & I attempting to take a Christmas picture when he was 18 months old. We had already tried sitting with Santa, which did not work well enough to get a picture!!! Rudolph wasn't much better!! But it's always been one of my favorite pictures. Rudolph looks a little pouty & scared too!

JP has always been a wonderful brother to Cameron. They are 9 years apart and have always been really close. They fought a lot when they Cameron was little because JP knew him well enough to push his buttons! Even today, they are still very close and it means a lot to JP to try to be a better role model for Cameron if given a chance.
This is JP playing "pin the tail on the donkey" with the little kids at Cameron's 2nd birthday party. He really cracked himself up!!

On to a different subject, my cute little niece, Daphne! My parents are in Atlanta visiting her this weekend and I got some new pictures. The first one is my mom, sister-in-law, & step-dad with Daphne trick or treating last night. Notice in the second one that she is using that cute little bag I won as her trick or treating bag!!
We are doing some things around the house today and then hopefully taking the boys to the state fair tonight. I think I've finally talked Walter into going! I told him that the boys will run off to have a good time and I'll be left alone with the carnies!!! AHHH!!!

Dawn, if our Heavenly Father gave up on us each and every time we failed, where on earth would we be? I say that simply to say, that we must never give up on our children- I know you haven't. We'll keep praying that JP is offered a second chance to turn his life around.
State Fair....in Shreveport? We thought about heading there this weekend, too, but we already had plans. Have fun!

You are all in my prayers. Those are such cute pictures of him growing up. This is a difficult time that you are going through. I understand the struggles and strain that addictions can have on families. It is not easy for anyone.
