Is anyone still here??

Wow! Hey there!! I have been missing my blog lately and reading everyone else's! I totally and completely love Facebook, and no I'm not leaving there, but I am always disapointed that I can't go back (without a lot of trouble) and look at old posts and things. Maybe I'll come back to the blog world? Who knows? But for today, it's what I think I'm going to do.

We are having an awesome summer so far. My last day of work was May 25th and I have been enjoying having nothing to do!! Walter (the Wizard) is able to take off from work when needed, so we are able to do some things together. He's already off every other Friday, so that is a nice, long weekend for us both. Elizabeth and the boys are doing well. I was supposed to get Landen today, but he'll be coming over tomorrow night after his first baseball game, and yes, granny Dawn will be there to cheer him on! Landen turned 8 in March and Mack turned 3 in May. Mack is still pretty wild and we don't really keep him much. I am hoping to do better with that soon. Bradley (E's step-son) is 9 now. JP is doing pretty good. He turned 26 in April. He agreed to plead guilty in December and was moved to the state prison system in February. He will be eligible for parole in August 2019. He seems to be adjusting well, he's working in the kitchen at the prison and says he likes it because it keeps him busy. I was able to visit him in May and sit together for 4 hours, which was awesome. Then Lesley & I went back in June and had a 4 hour window visit. She isn't able to have "contact" visits, so this worked out ok. The visits are so much better than in the county jail. We are going back in July and August, since it's summer and we both can work it out to go. Walter will go with us on the August visit. Cameron is great! He's 16 and working for the second summer at Blue Bayou Water Park. He actually saved a man 3 weeks ago! We are proud! He has pulled his grades up and will be a senior next year. We have high hopes for this young man! My step-son, Sean, is 24 now and not doing really well. We are praying that things will turn around for him soon.

I guess I could post pictures of our summer fun up til now? Or maybe i'll go back a little ways, since you've missed a lot since December! Let's see what I can find!

Elizabeth planned a surprise skating party for Landen and it totally freaked Landen out! He apparently doesn't like surprises and it took 20 mintues to calm him down!!

This is Mack at Landen's birthday party.

This is Landen & Elizabeth.

In May, we had an "end of the year" crawfish boil for our co-workers at our house. It was a great day! Several of my co-workers went to graduate school with me, so we really enjoy working together and also getting to hang out some too!

This is Christine - a co-worker/grad school friend.

This is the Wizard and Tammie's son.

Our coordinator, Terry

Courtney & I - she's another co-worker/grad school friend.

No year is complete without a Lundin wedding...this is Brenden & Kristen

And Erin and Mike.

So anyway, I am missing my blog, so i'm back for now! Let me know if you're still out there!!
