Hi everyone,

I have kept my blog online so that I could deliver the news about JP to those who have followed our story and cared so much! I have not found my way back here and really enjoy keeping up with everyone on Facebook, but for those who aren't there, here is our outcome we've waited nearly 3 years for. JP has agreed to take a 25 year plea deal. He will be eligible for parole after 12.5 years and will receive credit for the 3 years he has already served. He is comfortable with his decision and I am relieved to have the answers we have waited for. His attorney was convinced he would receive a life sentence, so this was his best plan, I think.
